Our first stop in Taipei is to visit our Uncle Sam... we are suppose to give a surprised but he knew we are coming so ... when we walk in to his pharmacy .... aunty su ruong already said... here you are... while waiting for uncle sam... we walk to this temple to take photo and pray pray....they said this temple very famous ohh....

United Hotel Taipei

Why this hotel? Well...  love the location and love the see thru toilet... Me and bernard stayed in this hotel 7 years ago when he was working in Taipei and we enjoyed so much at that time... with high salary... after 7 years, everything still the same... nothing much changed ... Will choose back this hotel.. if i go Taipei again... 

Spare Ribs with Lap Cheong Rice

I remember i did once with "Tau Si" before but... this is without "Tau Si" and with Lap Cheong this time and i prefer this so much then the previous one... too bad my rice didn't turn out good, too much water for me... but i love it....

Been crazy about this fried rice lately, i bought some char siew back from KK and i found it they are very nice so thinking to have char siew fried rice without mixed veg.. because i dont take mixed veg. And the new Bento set i just bought .... nice?

LE Meridien - Kota Kinabalu

First i want to say thank you to my brother who gave us the upgrade suites voucher,  Hotel is quite impress except the toilet at living room is.... not good but other then that... everything is very fine, love the view.... is a Sea view ..... air c0 is very very cold.... even we didn't turn on... sound like a bit scary but i did sleep very well.... he he.... Staff is very good... allow to extend our check out until 3p.m, thanks christina.... will be back there again....

Nini Japanese Bento 2

Another try for japanese bento, trying to do teriyaki chicken but normally they use chicken whole leg but i tried to use breast meat because i have warning from Dr that i have to cut down all the oily and carbo food. Grill chicken breast is a bit dry... and my egg suppose to look like Love and Star Shape... but... cos my egg too big... a bit out of shape... waiting for the Hello Kitty egg mould and will try that again... 

Indo Mee Goreng with Egg

Mee Goreng????? why mee goreng??? Ask Eric Voon... When i called him last week, he said... so lousy here no Mee Goreng !!! So, he ask me to cook one and post it on my blog.... so he can imagine .... so i add an egg and 2 hot dog.... enjoy la... hong...

At Last ....

At last... she fall asleep in my house but of course before she fall asleep, she asked... where is mama? Anna want to see Mama.... but she was too tired that before i answer her... she already in her dreamland.... ha ha, the next day i ask her you want to sleep with aunty ni ni, and she said... "YA"... really melt my heart...

Nini Japanese Bento

This sunday i prepare this Bento for my hubby before he go to golf, actually this is the second time that i did this bento, the first time my tempura doesn't work.. but this time it works, i would like to thanks my cousin Ling ling who lend me her Bento Set... thanks Ling... Bernard love the bento a lot ... ha ha

Another drama that i been chasing lately after the "命中注定我愛你", the reason why i am watching "牽牛花開的日子" is because i love the team especially 吳奇隆,竇智孔,楊謹華,梁又琳 and the cute cute little boy 汪政緯, story is very touching which i cried every night when i watch it and i know ending is not as good as 命中注定我愛你 cos  吳奇隆 will die in the end, i predict only cos not yet finish... but still have 竇智孔 mah... ha ha,  Theme song are very very good also .... please visit the http://blog.sina.com.tw/chinatv/ for more update.

SPAM SPAM SPAM

One of my favourite.... SPAM, i use to eat the china luncheon meat especially when i cook Maggi Mee or eat with Bread... wowow... BEST MAN!!! But now... China Luncheon Meat got banned. Luckily got SPAM.... i prefer Spam then Tulip .... and we can't find Spam in Brunei, so my kasihan cousin chee hong have to help me to buy .... since is from Singapore so we are allow to eat a tin but lately cannot eat so no choice have to ask my cousin chee hong to help me to buy this from Singapore. Only allow to eat 1 tin a month with family.. Ya, i know is not healthy to eat this... but once a while mah..... 

Moon Cake - Maxim美心 Hongkong

Talking about Maxim, is always my last stop shopping in Hk airport. I normally buy the swiss roll, butter bread, almond biscuit and bring it back to Brunei. This is the first time i tried the Moon Cake, because i never travel hk during summer so i have no chance to buy them... So, this box of Moon Cake is from Aunty Cindy (Elsie's Mum). I always thought the Wing Hwa one is the best but after the Maxim.... now i understand why people in Hk... choose Maxim then Wing Hwa, 1 thing i don't like is.... they only sell with yolk.... and double lagi.....  but is perfect without the yolk.... Thanks.... Aunty Cindy again..... really YUMMY!!!! 

Moon Cake - Inter Continental Sg

I want to thanks my cousin, chee hong who bought me this Moon Cake. I was told that is really nice so... i force him to help me to buy... and end up is a gift from him... hahahaa... Moon Cake is a bit dry... but.... i like it because is not so sweet and got no yolk... Thanks Hong...

Best Breakfast in Town - CountryPatch Cafe

Normally you only can get this type of breakfast in Sheraton Hotel or Empire Hotel, but now you can get it in CountryPatch in Kiulap... same block with Twelve Cafe... Is really nice with the price of $5, you can choose... 4 item from the menu... Egg ( like hard boiled, fried egg, scramble egg and etc) , Baked Beans, Pancake and lots more... with the healthy WholeMeal Bread.... if you go early morning before 11am... u get a free cup of coffee and tea. Highly Recomended.... !!!!

Our New Member - Baby Sara

Baby Sara is Anna's sister, i think she look very different from Anna. Baby Sara look more like her dad and Anna look more like her mum... but they are both very cute!!!

Cousin Gathering Aug 2008

We decided to have a cousin gathering because our Jin Yee KoKo and Diana Jie Jie come back for their holiday... and it happend that Jin Yang, Yen Ping, Yen Hong, Siau Sing ( ah gu's wife) and Roland (althought he is our Nephew) are back as well... we suppose to go to beach but... because of the Ghost Festival this month we decided to be in my house, each family will bring a dish over. I was so excited that i can't even sleep, wake up at around 7.30am... hhahaaa... I was having fun for the whole day and i hope everyone also.... i would like to thanks everyone who make an effort to join the gathering. Hope we can have some more in the future....

Savy's Brasserie

At last we have the chance to go out for dinner, normally i prefer to eat dinner at home until today my parents were invited to a wedding dinner so me and hubby decided to try this restaurant, our starter we tried  Crispy Calamari then i took the lamb chop and hubby took the Australian rack of Lamb,actually we know this new restaurant been a while, just don't have the chance to go. Honestly... the food is really nice... you guys can try... really really yummy !!!!
